RMT Kimberly Calvo Cubero

Kimberly studied massage therapy at MaKami College of Massage Therapy and now has one year of experience as a registered massage therapist (RMT). Kimberly specializes in a wide variety of therapies including; myofascial cupping therapy, aromatherapy, prenatal and postnatal massage, deep-tissue massage, relaxation massage, and hot stone massage.  

As a child, Kimberly was fascinated with every function of the body and the idea of providing a sense of relief to individuals through touch. Kimberly dreamt of working in a profession related to the well being of the body. Therefore, she did not hesitate in taking the opportunity to become an RMT.

RMT Binu Johnson

Binu has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy and is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Binu studied massage therapy at the South Edmonton School of Massage Therapy and now has three years of experience in Canada as a registered massage therapist. In addition, Binu has 18 years of previous massage therapy experience in Dubai. Binu specializes in a wide variety of therapies including; myofascial cupping therapy, hot stone massage, thai herbal hot compress, body scrub massage, deep tissue massage, Swedish relaxation massage, orthopedic/sports massage, craniosacral massage, prenatal and postnatal massage, Indian ayurvedic panchakarma treatments, reflexology, acupressure and meridian therapy, visceral manipulations, cranial osteopathy, and muscle energy techniques.

Binu feels that with her experience and expertise, she is able to help people by alleviating pain and discomfort throughout their body all while guiding them in leading a holistic lifestyle.

RMT Myriam Medina

Myriam is an Advanced Clinical Registered Massage Therapist. Myriam studied massage therapy at MaKami College of Massage Therapy and now has one year of experience as a registered massage therapist (RMT). Myriam specializes in a wide variety of therapies including; relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, myofascial cupping therapy, prenatal massage, and trigger point release massage therapy. 

Myriam has always been passionate about helping people, so finding a profession that focused solely on the well-being of others, such as massage therapy, was the clear choice. Myriam embraces the idea of her work making a positive difference.

“I am passionate about my profession as an RMT because massage therapy not only heals physically, but mentally as well. I’d like to let my clients know that they are in a safe and inclusive environment, and my goal is for them to feel comfortable and happy with their massage. ” – Myriam Medina

RMT Abhishay Tiwari (Abhi)

Abhi has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy and is an Advanced Clinical Registered Massage Therapist. Abhi studied massage therapy at MaKami College of Massage Therapy and now has two years of experience as a registered massage therapist (RMT). She specializes in a wide variety of therapies including; myofascial cupping therapy, prenatal and postnatal massage, therapeutic massage, deep-tissue massage, relaxation massage, and hot stone massage.  

Abhi feels that with her experience of working with clients of all kinds, she is able to help people alleviate stress, manage pain, and recover from injuries effectively and efficiently. Abhi aims to assist individuals in the healing process and even restore their emotional balance.

Erika Quiroga (Student Massage Therapist)

Erika has a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and is currently an Associate Massage therapist and second year massage therapy student at MaKami College of Massage Therapy with over 1250 hours of therapy experience. Currently, Erika specializes in deep-tissue massage therapy and Swedish/relaxation massage therapy. 

Erika finds massage therapy to be a rewarding profession as she is able to use her knowledge about health to help people feel better through holistic methods. Erika is able to incorporate her nursing background within the foundation of her massage therapy, allowing her to have a unique perspective when treating clients. In addition, Erika is passionate about continual improvement and growth, always seeking new ways to improve her skills as a therapist.

Dr. Hyacinth Urrutia, Ac.

Dr. Hyacinth Urrutia, Ac. is a Doctor of Acupuncture in the Province of Alberta. She graduated from the Grant MacEwan University Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) program. She also completed an Internship at the Third Affiliated Hospital, Henan University of Chinese Medicine in Zhengzhou, China.
